The Class of 2020 did it. They made it through high school and onto the next place. Every single person in that class has grown and changed significantly.
Even though I have been at Wooster for only two years, I have seen every single senior grow ever since I first came here in 9th grade. The seniors have an amazing sense of connection to everybody they meet.
On my first day of school at Wooster, I was so nervous and scared. But when I saw the familiar face of my brother Drew Fortson hanging with his friends, I felt a sense of hope and happiness. I no longer felt scared. While still adjusting to Wooster, I got a lot of help from the Class of 2020, guiding me where to go, helping me improve my social skills and making me feel a part of Wooster. Two years later I really feel like I am a part of this Wooster family because of the Class of 2020.
The Class of 2020 has left a very big impact on Wooster that will be missed. Their ability to connect and help each other and others is inspiring. The Class of 2020 is like no other. They have a sense of community of and friendship. Their power to bond with each other and with underclassmen is magical.
Thank you Seniors. You will be missed by so many. Whatever path you guys choose it will be great. Continue to connect with others you meet like you did at your time at Wooster.
Goodbye Class of 2020.
