WiNK Male Athlete of the Week

Ryan Lincoln

Ryan Lincoln lit up the ice this week against Forman, slotting two goals and two assists. Ryan moved the puck up with his team totally demoralizing the Lions and leaving them no chance of winning at 9-2. Ryan scored one of his goals off the face off in the third period, they one the tip and slotted it into the net leaving the goalie in awe. His second goal was a straight shot from the point, the goalie was seeing ghosts when Lincoln was on the puck, he had a sure eye for the goal. The puck moved flawlessly up the ice when Lincoln had his shift, showing great signs for a promising season for the Wooster Ice Hockey team.

WiNK Female Athlete of the Week

Presley Damiano

Presley was a key factor in the Girls Basketball win during Pack the Gym this Wednesday. The crowd was loud and the girls stayed composed and ran their offense the same as always. It ran through the guards Presley and past Athletes of the Week Andi Bordoy and Jesmari Perdicho. She was a force on defense as well, she had multiple steals that she either took coast to coast or assisted teammates with. Presley drove through the defense and took it to the paint without fear, she was never afraid of contact. She finished with 8 points and assisting multiple teammates. The girls ran through the Kingsmen 51-23 with ease, they are 4-1 on the season and show no sign of slowing down. They have a game tonight against a in division Rival Harvey Cavaliers.
