Our newest partnership started in 2019 with Leela Library & Learning Center in Koduru, Andhra Pradesh, India. Leela is an educational initiative that contributes to the learning process through the development of language proficiency, communication skills, civic responsibility, traditional knowledge and the environment. Children attend Leela as an after school program, and there is a vision to create a radio station to share educational content with local youth who either cannot attend Leela or formal school. Through the creation of educational content by way of podcasts and videos, Wooster students hope to be able to support the transfer of knowledge between our institutions.
