Wooster School senior Emily Clee, of Bethel, CT, has signed her National Letter of Intent to attend Auburn University and compete on the women's equestrian team in front of friends, teachers, and family including her parents Wayne and Holly Clee, and trainer Abbi Ferrigno, on the Wooster campus.

Clee is an accomplished rider attaining accolades at the highest levels for her age. She recently took top honors in the 2022 Platinum Performance/USEF Talent Search 3* at the Old Salem Farm Spring Horse Show.

Emily began riding when she was just seven years old and began competing by the age of 10. Riding became more and more a part of her life throughout each year. "The barn quickly became a family to me that I couldn't leave," remarked Emily Clee. "To be able to go to a Division 1 Equestrian program, because of all the hard work I've done and will continue to do in college, is a dream for me," she added.

Wooster School is flexible and accommodating when a student has a passion for an activity beyond what is offered on the Wooster campus each day. Wooster has been supportive of Emily's commitments to Equestrian, including allowing her to travel to competition even if it meant missing some time at school.

Congratulations Emily!

Auburn University is a member of the NCAA Division 1 Southeastern Conference (SEC).
